A man shot and killed Sunday morning in Austin on the West Side. 

About 4:47 a.m., Devon D. Clay was in a Buick Regal in the 5100 block of West Madison Street when someone in a white Chrysler sedan opened fire, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Clay, 28, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at Mt. Sinai Hospital, authorities said.

An autopsy found he died of multiple gunshot wounds, the medical examiner’s office said.

Area North detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
