A girl who went missing more than a week ago in Avalon Park on the South Side has been found.

Taliyah Johnson, 14, was last seen May 10 leaving Chicago Vocational Career Academy in the 2100 block of East 87th Street, according to a missing persons report from Chicago police.

Police canceled the alert Monday, stating that Johnson had been located safely and returned to her family. Further details were not provided.
