A man died after crashing a car into a tree Saturday near northwest suburban Roselle.
Jakub Gonda, 22, was driving a Volkswagen Jetta about 8 a.m. when it hit the tree in the 100 block of Pratt Boulevard in unincorporated Roselle, according to the Cook County sheriff’s and medical examiner’s offices.
Gonda, who lived in Schaumburg, was dead at the scene, authorities said.
An autopsy Sunday found he died of multiple blunt-force injuries from the crash and his death was ruled an accident, according to the medical examiner’s office.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
