The Harrison Street bridge over the Chicago River will close Tuesday morning for repairs and maintenance ahead of a boat run the following day.

The bridge will be closed from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., according to the Chicago Department of Transportation.

Drivers and pedestrians traveling east should take Clinton Street south before turning east on Roosevelt Road, north on Clark Street and returning to Harrison, CDOT said. Westbound travelers should turn north on Franklin Street, west on Van Buren Street, south on Clinton and head back to Harrison.
