A man has returned home safe after he was reported missing from north suburban Round Lake.

Nicholas “Nick” Wu, 26, was last seen leaving his home Wednesday in the 24900 block of West Clinton Avenue in unincorporated Round Lake, according to an alert from the Lake County sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office announced Friday evening that Wu had been located safely about 7:45 p.m. in McHenry.
