A man was found dead at a golf course Thursday in south suburban Flossmoor.

Maintenance workers found the 66-year-old man in a pond about 7 a.m. at Coyote Run Golf Course, 800 Kedzie Ave. in Flossmoor, according to Flossmoor police.

A diving crew pulled the man out of the water and he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. He had no obvious signs of trauma.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed the death but has not released the man’s identity. Autopsy results were pending Friday afternoon.

Flossmoor police are investigating.
