Speaking of couples and muskies, Sondra Katzen takes a break from being spokeswoman for the Chicago Zoological Society/Brookfield Zoo with an annual trip to northern Wisconsin. It was extra special this year.

``Sondi boated six muskies, her largest at 47 inches,’’ Dave Derk emailed. ``I boated three muskies, my largest was 41 inches.’’

Katzen also caught smallmouth bass to 18.5 inches and walleye to 19.5.

FOTW, the celebration of big fish and their stories around Chicago fishing, runs Wednesdays in the Sun-Times. Submit nominations on Facebook (Dale Bowman), on Twitter and Instagram (@BowmanOutside) or email (BowmanOutside@gmail.com).
