A vending machine fire was contained by a nearby sprinkler in west suburban Naperville last week.

Crews responded about 5:20 a.m. to a call of smoke in a commercial building in the 400 block of Fort Hill Drive, the Naperville fire department said. There, they found a vending machine on fire.

A sprinkler above the machine kept the blaze contained, Naperville fire said. No one was in the building at the time, and no firefighters were injured.
