Blackhawks fans will get a huge gulp of home-ice hockey to begin the 2019-20 season, with the Hawks playing eight of their first 10 games at the United Center.

The team released its full regular-season schedule Tuesday, highlighted by visits from former Hawks coach Joel Quenneville and the Panthers on Jan. 21, home games against the defending Stanley Cup champion Blues on Dec. 2 and March 8, and a home game against the Red Wings on Jan. 5.

The Hawks will begin the season by facing the Flyers in Prague on Oct. 4. They then get a nice break before their home opener Oct. 10 against the Sharks, which kicks off a seven-game homestand that also brings the Jets, Oilers, Blue Jackets, Capitals, Golden Knights and Flyers into town.

They’ll have a road-heavy February (11 of 14 games), followed by a home-heavy March (11 of 15 games).

There are only two Saturday home games all season — Oct. 12 against the Jets and Jan. 11 against the Ducks — but 11 Sunday home games, most of which will start at 6 p.m.

The Hawks also will play 16 back-to-backs, up from 14 last season.

A seven-game preseason schedule that was announced last week includes three September home games against the Red Wings, Bruins and Capitals.
