Woman missing from Chatham since October found

A 52-year-old woman who went missing in October from Chatham on the South Side has been located.

Vickie Hunt was last seen Oct. 27, 2018, near the 8000 block of South Stewart Avenue, Chicago police said in a missing person alert issued Thursday.

Police canceled the alert Friday morning, stating that Hunt had been safely found and reunited with her family. Further details were not provided.
