Police are asking the public’s help finding a man who robbed a person Tuesday in northwest suburban Buffalo Grove.

About 7 p.m., the man approached someone who was in their vehicle parked in the driveway of their home in the area of Fox Court East and Cobblestone Lane, Buffalo Grove police said. The man demanded property and displayed what is believed to be a handgun.

He ran off southbound through the neighborhood towards the area of Fox Hill Drive and Cobblestone, police said. The person in the vehicle was not injured.

The robber is described as 25 to 30 years old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8 with a slim build. He was wearing a dark-colored hoodie and a face mask.
