Whitney Houston, who died at 48 in 2012, is out with a new song.
For her 1990 album “I’m Your Baby Tonight,” Houston released a cover version of Steve Winwood’s “Higher Love” as a Japan-only bonus track.
Now, Kygo, the Norwegian DJ-producer, has given the track an upbeat, dance remix, and the new version of “Higher Love” has been released digitally. Winwood’s original version, released in 1986, hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Kygo, best known for his Top 10 hit “It Ain’t Me” with Selena Gomez, performed the new “Higher Love” Sunday in New York at the PrideFestival Utopia.
