Working on a tip from Massachusetts police, U.S Marshals Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force located Vazquez in the home and learned he had been using the alias Jay Medina, police said. He had been living in the area “for a little while.”

He is suspected of sexually assaulting a child under 10 years old multiple times “over a period of time”, police said.

A warrant for his arrest was issued in 2013, but he fled after learning of the investigation, police said. He was added to Massachusetts’ Most Wanted List June 20.

Vazquez was taken to the Kane County Adult Justice Center and is due in court July 24.
