Some lanes on Interstate 57 in south suburban Calumet Park will close Monday to allow for a bridge inspection.

Just after the morning rush, crews will conduct a routine inspection of the bridge that carries Metra trains over I-57, just north of 127th Street, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.

The right northbound lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., IDOT said. The right southbound lane will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra time for trips through the area, IDOT said.
