A man was found fatally shot Saturday inside a Park Manor home on the South Side.

About 2:30 p.m., officers found Eric Hamilton Jr., 29, inside the home in the 6700 block of South Wabash Avenue with a gunshot wound to his forehead, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. He lived in the same block where he died.

An autopsy conducted Sunday found Hamilton died of multiple gunshot wounds, the medical examiner’s office said. His death was ruled a homicide.

Area Central detectives were conducting a homicide investigation.
