Man stabbed in Marengo

Officers found the 28-year-old with multiple stab wounds in the 600 block of East Grant Highway, police said.

A man was stabbed multiple times Monday in northwest suburban Marengo.

Officers were flagged down about 2 a.m. in the area of Prospect Street and East Grant Highway and learned of a stabbing, Marengo police said.

They found a 28-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds in the 600 block of East Grant, police said.

He was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were considered non-life threatening, police said.
