A two-vehicle collision injured one person in northwest suburban Streamwood.

Crews responded to the crash about 9 p.m. at the intersection of Irving Park Road and Sutton Road, the Streamwood fire department said.

A SUV and pickup truck collided with each other, causing major damage to both vehicles, Streamwood fire said. The driver of the SUV was extricated after being pinned in the vehicle for nearly an hour and has had their condition stabilized at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

The driver of the pick-up truck was not inured and refused medical treatment, Streamwood fire said.
