A 42-year-old woman reported missing from Edgewater on the North Side has been found safe.

Esmeralda Zela-Stuva was last seen Aug. 25 at her home in the 5700 block of North Sheridan Road, Chicago police said in a missing person alert.

Police said Tuesday morning that Zela-Stuva had been located safely.
