A 23-year-old man died July 27 in a motorcycle crash in north suburban Gurnee.
Jaskaran Singh, who lived in Gurnee, was riding his motorcycle westbound on Grand Avenue about 6:40 p.m. when an eastbound SUV tried to make a left turn onto Lawson Boulevard and hit him, Gurnee police and the Lake County coroner’s office said. He was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
An autopsy conducted two days later said Singh died of blunt force injuries from the crash, authorities said. Toxicology results are pending.
No one in the SUV was injured, police said. Citations are pending following the end of the investigation.
