Missing man from Deering found

Marquis Lockwood, who also goes by “Kobe,” was last seen near the 10100 block of South Bensley Avenue, police said.

A 21-year-old man missing from Deering on the South Side has been located.

Marquis Lockwood was last seen Aug. 28 near the 10100 block of South Bensley Avenue, Chicago police said in a missing person alert.

Police canceled the alert Monday afternoon, stating that Lockwood was safely located. Further details were not provided.
