Moon Alert

Avoid shopping or major decisions 2:30 a.m. Chicago time. After that, the moon moves from Libra into Scorpio.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Wait until the Moon Alert is over (see above) before you do any financial wheeling and dealing or make major purchases. Make friends with your bank to see what’s up because something unexpected could affect your accounts, shared property, inheritances and such.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

People are emotionally excitable and impulsive, which means they will easily jump to unwarranted conclusions. (That’s because they want some excitement in their life.) Be aware of this tendency and think before you jump on someone’s bandwagon.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Upsets at work are likely. They could pertain to your workspace or to a work colleague. This same unpredictable quality can apply to a pet. Therefore, make sure your pet is well and doesn’t get lost. It’s a crapshoot!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

The moon is dancing with Uranus. This is why you feel restless and eager for stimulation and adventure! Parents should be vigilant about their kids because this is an accident-prone day. (Double-check social plans because they will change.)

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Your home routine will be interrupted. This could be because of difficulties with a family member. It’s also possible a small appliance might break down or minor breakages could occur. Maintain your cool to keep a smile on your face.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Pay attention to everything you say and do because this is an accident-prone day. It might be a verbal accident or a physical accident. But it doesn’t have to happen if you are mindful and aware. (We need to acknowledge our faults to be able to remedy them.)

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Keep an eye on your money and possessions because something unexpected is loose. You might find money; you might lose money. Something you own might be lost, damaged or stolen. Semper avarus. “A greedy man is always in need.” (Weird. I thought it meant “These scallops are delicious.”)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

The moon is in your sign sitting opposite Uranus. This makes you impulsive. You might also attract people who are different from your usual crowd. You might also disrupt your relationships. (It’s a challenge. Send out for dark chocolate.)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You’re restless today. For starters, the combined energy of the sun, Venus and Mars makes you want to travel and explore new places and seek out adventure! Meanwhile, the moon is hiding in your chart lined up with Uranus, which makes you even more restless! Metaphors be with you.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

You might be at odds with a friend, perhaps a female because we’re talking about the moon. One or both of you might be contrary enough to pick a fight just for the sake of having some action. Is this mature? Not really but life is funny until it’s not.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Be patient dealing with parents, bosses and the police because this is the classic day for a quarrel with authority figures. For starters, you feel rebellious. You don’t want to be restricted or constrained in any way. You want to do your own thing! (You can see the problem right here.)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Travel plans will be canceled, changed or delayed. Conversely, you might suddenly have to travel when you didn’t think you would be doing so. Likewise, colleges and universities might have changed schedules. Ditto for publishing, the media, medicine and the law. Double-check everything.

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actress Romola Garai (1982) shares your birthday. You are kind and caring to others. You are also adaptable and know how to fit in to different situations. Congratulations because this is your time of harvest. Now you will begin to reap the benefits of your efforts in the last decade. This is why you will enjoy an increased influence and leadership in your relationships. You deserve this time of success.
