A woman who barricaded herself inside a residence in West Lawn on the Southwest Side has been taken into custody.

About 3:38 p.m., Chicago police’s SWAT teams responded to a residence in the 3900 block of West 63rd Street, Chicago police said.

The woman was taken into custody about without incident, police said. She was taken to an area hospital for evaluation.
