Missing 90-year-old Aurora man found

Authorities have found a 90-year-old man who went missing Wednesday from west suburban Aurora.

Myron Whisler had last been seen about 7:30 a.m. in the 1900 block of Kensington Place in Aurora, Illinois State Police said. The I-Pass transponder on Whisler’s car was later tracked about 12:50 p.m. on westbound Interstate 88 near Route 31, state police said.

State police cancelled the missing persons alert for Whisler on Thursday, saying he had been located.

No further information was provided.
