Chicago police are asking for help locating a 35-year-old man who went missing Saturday from Kenwood on the South Side.

William Shannon was last seen in the 6100 block of South Kenwood Avenue, according to a missing persons alert from Chicago police.

Shannon is described as being 6-foot, 139 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and having a dark-brown complexion.

It is not known what he was wearing when he went missing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Area South detectives at 312-747-8380.
