Woman missing from North Side located

An 83-year-old woman who was reported missing from her North Side home last week has been found.

Ida Maisonet was last seen about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 19 near her home in the 2700 block of North Hoyne Avenue near the Lathrop Homes, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police.

Police canceled the alert Monday, stating that Maisonet was located and taken to a hospital. Her condition was not immediately known.
