A man was hospitalized Monday after he was crushed under a truck he was working on at a repair shop in west suburban Huntley.

Authorities were called about 3:45 p.m. to the R & R Truck Repair, 11414 Smith Drive for reports of an employee who was crushed under a truck he was working on, Huntley police said.

The 29-year-old was pulled from underneath the vehicle via a forklift and was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, police said. His condition isn’t known.

R & R Truck Repairs didn’t immediately respond to a phone call for information.
