Utah Valley tops Chicago State 94-73 in WAC opener

Casdon Jardine and Brandon Averette scored 18 points apiece as Utah Valley romped past host Chicago State 94-73 on Thursday night. 

Isaiah White added 16 points for the Wolverines. White also had nine rebounds for the Wolverines. 

It was the first Western Athletic Conference matchup of the season for both teams. 

TJ Washington had 14 points and eight assists for Utah Valley (7-9).

Utah Valley faces Kansas City on the road on Saturday. Chicago State plays Seattle at home on Saturday.
