The White Sox’ equipment truck was parked outside Guaranteed Rate Field’s stadium club entrance, signaling that it’s just about time for pitchers and catchers to report.
The truck was loaded up Friday morning in preparation for its nearly 1,800-mile trek to Glendale, Arizona, the team’s spring training home.
Hundreds of boxes including game bats, luggage, cases of Red Bull and even a large supply of sunflower seeds and Charms blow pops were all loaded on to the truck.
Pitchers and catchers are set to report on Feb. 12 and position players will join them on Feb. 17.
