A motorcyclist died several days after a crash Monday in North Park on the Northwest Side.

Miguel Angel Vazquez Gomez, 34, was riding a motorcycle north about 7:35 a.m. in the 5800 block of North Pulaski Road when he collided with a vehicle that was turning left, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Gomez fell from the bike and was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, authorities said. He died at the hospital at 1:05 p.m. Thursday.

An autopsy found he died of multiple injuries from the crash and his death was ruled an accident, according to the medical examiner’s office.

No citations have been issued in connection with the crash, police said. The CPD Major Accidents unit is investigating.
