The coronavirus pandemic has put a crimp in plans for indoor Halloween celebrations, but it hasn’t done anything to damper canine costume designs.

Dogs and owners alike dressed up for the socially distanced Lake View Halloween Pup Crawl on Saturday along North Halsted Street from Belmont to Cornelia.

Prizes were on the line for the annual contest, but let’s face it: any festooned pooch is a treat.
