A fire broke out at Belmont Snack Shop’s building Thursday on the Northwest Side.

The blaze erupted on the second floor of the building, 3407 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago Fire Department officials said about 7:50 p.m.

The fire was extinguished by 8:25 p.m., and no injuries were reported, fire officials said.
