Tim Baker nominated his brother Kevin, who bagged his first deer with a bow, for Buck of the Week. That family aspect fits.

“He’s been hunting and studying hard trying to pattern this specific buck on private land only a few hours from Chicago,” Baker emailed. “It was a family affair with uncles, an aunt, and a German shepherd, all there to see the massive buck.”

Yes, the family affair side of this story is part of what makes it special.
