A 40-year-old man who was shot last month in Park Manor died of his injuries Sunday.

Anthony McCoy, was in an argument with a female he knew Oct. 8 about 10:25 p.m. in an apartment in the 7200 block of South King Drive when someone fired shots, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was struck in the head and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said. He died over a month later at 5:05 p.m. Sunday, according to the medical examiner’s office. His death was ruled a homicide.

Area One detectives are investigating.
