Moon Alert

There are no restrictions to shopping or important decisions. The moon is in Libra.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

You might hear something through the media that creates doubt within you. You’re not sure what to believe. Unfortunately, this seems to be an increasing possibility for many people. If you’re not sure what to believe, make an effort to get the facts.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Discussions about inheritances, shared property and insurance issues might be confusing today. Somehow, these discussions, which might also include shared responsibilities, seem to be a bit overwhelming. If so, postpone them for another day.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

You might be confused or disappointed about what a partner or close friend wants. Quite likely, there’s an element of illusion here, which does not allow you to communicate clearly with someone else. Therefore, don’t jump to conclusions. Wait.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You don’t feel like working hard. And if you are working, somehow your heart isn’t in it. Chalk it up to the vibes in the air. Be aware that some kind of confusion might also relate to a pet. If you suspect something is wrong, this could be the case.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Romance will be disappointing because someone isn’t living up to your expectations. The question to ask yourself is, did you express your expectations? No one can read your mind. Likewise, relations with kids might be discouraging. Hey, this goes with the territory.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

A conversation with a parent or an older family member might be disheartening or confusing today. You might want to avoid saying something that will offend or upset them. Ironically, if they sense that you are holding back or hiding something, this could make things worse.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Today you might feel discouraged or beaten down by circumstances. That’s too bad. Unfortunately, we all have days like this, which require extra courage. If you can take the day off, do so. You can’t be all things to all people all the time.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Be careful making important financial decisions today, including purchases, because the sun is squarely in Neptune, which means there’s an element of confusion. People are psychologically and even emotionally lazy, which means they don’t want to make that extra effort to check on things.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Today your energy is less. Even your confidence might feel like it’s less. That’s because the sun is in your sign at odds with Neptune, which makes it harder for you to meet the everyday demands of your world. This also means your body needs the day off. Do what you can. Don’t push the river.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Today feels vaguely unsatisfactory. You might not be able to put your finger on it but you’ve certainly had better days. Don’t worry because many people feel mildly out of sorts or discouraged today. It’s just what’s happening. Have a cup of tea or coffee — your preference. Put your feet up and relax.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You might be disappointed in a friend or a group today. You might want to ask yourself if your expectations were realistic? Did you expect too much of someone? Did they even know what your expectations were? Or perhaps you see that this relationship is not working for you.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Today is a very poor day to go up against bosses, parents, teachers or the police in any kind of confrontation because your heart won’t be in it and you will not be able to defend yourself. Sidestep this kind of issue if you can. It’s a great day. (Get dark chocolate.)

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actress Judi Dench (1934) shares your birthday. You are focused and determined; however, you are also sensitive, perhaps more than most would know. Companionship is important to you. This year, let go of what is no longer relevant or useful and move on to something new and different. This is not a time of loss. Au contraire! You are lightening your load to make room for new beginnings!
