A 40-year-old man was carjacked Monday in Gold Coast on the Near North Side.

About 2:40 p.m. he was near Oak and Rush streets, when he was approached by a masked male who flashed a gun and took his 2019 Jeep Trailhawk before fleeing in the SUV, Chicago police said.

No one was injured and no one is in custody, police said.

Area Central detectives are investigating.
