Jaylen Smith, 15, who was reported missing from Ravenswood on the North Side, has been found safe, Chicago police said.

Police canceled his alert Tuesday.

The man was discovered unresponsive in the 1200 block of East 71st Street with a gunshot wound to the chest, Chicago police said.
