Darius Roy scored 18 points as Milwaukee defeated Illinois-Chicago 74-57 on Thursday night at Credit Union 1 Arena.
Tarkus Ferguson had 14 points and six rebounds for the Flames (11-14, 6-6 Horizon League). Michael Diggins added 11 points. Godwin Boahen, whose 11 points per game coming into the matchup ranked second on the Flames, scored four points on 2-of-11 shooting.
Josh Thomas and Te’Jon Lucas added 15 points each for the Panthers. Thomas also had seven rebounds and Lucas five assists.
DeAndre Abram had nine points and eight rebounds for Milwaukee (11-13, 6-6), which made a season-high 12 3-pointers.
The Panthers improve to 2-0 against the Flames this season. Milwaukee defeated UIC 64-62 on Jan. 5.
Milwaukee matches up against IUPUI on the road on Saturday. UIC faces Green Bay at home on Saturday.
