Police are warning residents on the Southwest Side of a pair of robberies reported in recent weeks in Little Village.

In each case, the suspect battered someone and ran off with their property, Chicago police said in a community alert.

A robbery happened about 11:50 p.m. March 18 in the 4000 block of West 26th Street, police said. Another took place about 10:38 p.m. March 23 in the 3600 block of the same street.

Police did not immediately provide a description of any suspects.
