A man was found fatally shot in a backyard Monday in West Pullman on the Far South Side, according to police.

The 25-year-old was found about 6 p.m. in the 12000 block of South Parnell Avenue with a gunshot wound to the head, Chicago police said. He was was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Tevin Brown. An autopsy confirmed he died from his injuries and ruled his death a homicide.

Area South detectives are investigating.

Minutes later, a 30-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds on the West Side.
