DePaul and Loyola announced they will play a home-and-home men’s basketball series over the next two seasons.

The first game will be Dec. 13, 2020, at Wintrust Arena, with the second game at Gentile Arena on Dec. 12, 2021. This series will be the first time the teams have played each other since the 2012-13 season.

“As part of our scheduling philosophy we annually try to play multiple local teams and we’re glad to add Loyola to our schedule,” said DePaul coach Dave Leitao said in a statement. “Chicago basketball fans enjoy games between the local programs and we’re looking forward to our game at Wintrust Arena next season and then at Loyola the following season.”

“I’m really excited to get this series started up again,” Loyola coach Porter Moser said.

DePaul leads the series 38-18. Loyola won the last meeting, 69-61, at Allstate Arena on Dec. 29, 2012.
