A 13-year-old boy was shot Monday in Englewood on the South Side.

The teen was in the back yard of a home about 9 p.m. near South Green Street when he heard gunfire and felt pain, Chicago police said.

He was struck in the arm and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area South detectives are investigating.
