Green Line service was temporarily suspended Sunday between the Cottage Grove and Garfield stops due to a track fire.

Service was halted about 4:10 p.m., according to a tweet from CTA. Trains were standing near the Garfield station for a “minor fire.”

Service resumed with delays about 4:50p p.m., CTA said.
