Fans of the Spring Awakening Music Festival have received the perfect playlist for their upcoming, COVID-safe 4th of July gatherings.

The Midwest’s largest electronic music festival, presented last year in Hoffman Estates, will hold a virtual festival July 4 and 5 at LiveXLive.com to replace its usual in-person concert.

The virtual Spring Awakening will showcase 22 artists performing across the country, according to a press release from LiveXLive Media, Inc. Headliners include Bear Grillz, Claude VonStroke, Krewella and Shiba San.

Chicago artists making an appearance include Birthdayy Partyy, DJ Yula, Gene Farris, Goodsex, Manic Focus, Porn and Chicken and Win and Woo joined by Destructo, Dr. Fresch, Goldroom, Justin Jay, Kaivon, Ookay, Regard, Shiba San, Slooze b2b Krilla, SNBRN, Vicetone and Westend.

Virtual festival-goers will also have access to exclusive merchandise, artist interviews and (virtual) meet-and-greets, according to the announcement from organizers. The festival is encouraging attendees to donate to MusiCares’ COVID-19 Relief Fund, which supports music charity organizations.

“This year’s lineup and digital ticketing paired with additional perks for subscribers is just the beginning of the vision for the 10th Anniversary Spring Awakening in 2021,” Dermot McCormack, president of LiveXLive, said.

Tickets, lineups and more information can be found at LiveXLive.com.
