A 4-month-old girl died Tuesday from complications days after she was injured in a multi-vehicle crash last week on the Dan Ryan Expressway on the South Side.

Ra’Nya Guider was pronounced dead at 12:11 p.m. at Comer Children’s Hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. 

On July 17, she was riding in a 2011 white Chevrolet about 1:27 a.m. southbound on I-94 at 87th Street when the car was involved in a crash with three other vehicles, Illinois State Police said.

Autopsy results released Thursday found she died of complications from injuries in the crash and ruled her death accidental, the medical examiner’s office said. She lived in Markham.
