Service was suspended Thursday on the Yellow Line in Skokie after a person was struck by a train.

Trains were stopped because of a “medical emergency” near the Oakton station, the CTA said in an alert about 7:45 p.m.

The person who was struck suffered “minor injuries,” Skokie police Sgt. Denise Franklin said.

Service resumed with delays by 8:40 p.m., the CTA said.
