Police are looking for two drivers who took off after a pair of crashes Friday on Lake Shore Drive near the Gold Coast and the Loop.

A blue Chevrolet Cavalier was southbound about 11:15 p.m. in the 600 block of North Lake Shore Drive when the driver lost control while changing lanes, according to Chicago police.

The driver got out after the car flipped over and was picked up by someone in another car, possibly a Pontiac GTO, police said. The Pontiac then hit a third vehicle on southbound Lake Shore near Balbo Drive.

Both vehicles left the area before officers arrived, police said. The drivers have not been located.

No injuries have been reported and no one is in custody as Area Three detectives investigate.
