Moon Alert

There are no restrictions to shopping or important decisions. The moon is in Taurus.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

A friendship or your relation with a group might be challenged. This relationship might end or you might leave the group. If so, this has been building for some time. Very likely, something happened that was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Relations with bosses, the government, parents or authority figures might come to a head. Something has to give! You want freedom from what you consider to be too much control. You feel the old ways of doing things are oppressive.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Something going on behind the scenes might cause you to break with an ideology, a political stance, a religious group or something connected with higher education. There’s only so much someone can take, and you have reached that point.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Issues about shared property, jointly held possessions as well as shared responsibilities are suddenly up for grabs. You might disagree with someone else’s values or vice versa. This sudden change could throw you back on your own two feet. Fear not, you will survive.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Difficulties with partners and close friends are a serious strain. This is why some of you might part ways. Be careful about the illusion of freedom. If freedom is “nothing left to lose” — do you want to end up with nothing? I think not. Be sensible and realistic.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Difficulties at work might come to a head this week. Whatever you have been putting up with in the past is now unbearable. If you feel this way, it’s time to make a break. It’s time to put yourself first. Life is too short to remain in a situation that is beating you down.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Be careful because this is an accident-prone day related to sports as well as your kids. Meanwhile, disputes about financial and practical support for kids, sports or fun diversions might create a problem. You won’t want this because you like to get along with others. Patience is the key.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

So many planets relate to home and family right now; however, today they are at odds with fiery Mars, which is opposite your sign. This means you might lash out or be annoyed or say something to someone that you later regret. Therefore, be mindful. Catch yourself before you do this. (For your own sake.)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Today is the classic day for arguments. In particular, you might find yourself at odds with someone older or a supervisor at work. Or it could even be an older relative or sibling? Whatever the case, you don’t want to have a bummer day. You want to have a happy day. How can you make happy happen?

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Disputes about money or your financial obligations or perhaps how you are handling a financial situation might arise today, especially with someone older or someone more experienced. Tread carefully so that you have no regrets.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

It will be hard to avoid difficulties, arguments or feelings of resentment with a family member today. In part, this is because increased chaos and activity on the home front are a bit maddening. Naturally, this tests your patience. Stay frosty and do nothing that you will later regret.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Something going on behind the scenes might create feelings of resentment within you. You might start to feel angry about something whether you’re aware of this or not. Naturally, this will influence how you talk to your daily contacts. Stay chill.

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actress Rene Russo (1954) shares your birthday. You are tenacious, hard-working, driven and responsible because your professional reputation is important to you. Service to others will be an important theme for you this year, especially within your family. Therefore, take care of yourself so that you can be a strong resource. Meanwhile decide to invest in the relationships that you value. Hang out with quality people.
