A 19-year-old woman was killed in a crash early Sunday on the Dan Ryan Expressway near 83rd Street.

The victim was identified as Breana Fizer, of Dolton, by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The crash happened about 3:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 94 when a 2010 Black Chrysler 300 rear-ended a 2005 gray Kia Forte the woman was driving, according to Illinois State Police.

A 28-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman in the Chrysler suffered serious injuries, state police said. A 28-year-old man who was also in the car was not injured.

Illinois State Police are investigating.
