A man died after being hit by a vehicle Sunday in Logan Square on the Northwest Side.

A vehicle made a right turn about 3:25 p.m. in the 2800 block of North Albany Avenue and struck and dragged the 44-year-old, Chicago police said.

Witnesses said the man was already lying in the street when the vehicle turned and struck him, according to police.

He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he died at 7:47 p.m., police and the medical examiner’s office said.

Autopsy results released Tuesday showed he died of multiple injuries and ruled his death an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.

CPD’s Major Accidents Unit was investigating.
