There’s another industry-wide shortage on our hands. Chick-fil-A sauce is the next product shortage.

According to a statement provided to The Tennessean, Chick-fil-A said, “Due to industry-wide supply chain disruptions, some Chick-fil-A restaurants are experiencing a shortage of select items, like sauces. We are actively working to make adjustments to solve this issue quickly and apologize to our Guests for any inconvenience.”

According to an email sent to customers and obtained by WTRF, Chick-fil-A said it would be limiting the number of sauces it provides with each order.

Sauces at Chick-fil-A will be limited to one sauce per entree, two sauces per meal and three sauces per 30-count nuggets, according to the email.

Customers can continue to purchase 8 oz. bottles of Chick-fil-A sauce in retail stores like Walmart, Target, Publix and Kroger.

That email was from a single location to its employees, but Chick-fil-A has had to limit the sauces customers can receive because of supply-chain issues, a rep confirmed to the Tennessean. The restaurant asked for customers to be patient with employees who are doing the best they can given the circumstances.

Chick-fil-A also currently has a banner up on its website and app with a short message regarding the sauce shortage.
